This is a situation where the writers of this show should have stayed on Strike. I lasted 20 minutes before I had enough of my precious time wasted. So much potential like the Gilded Age on Max. So little entertainment value. How this S… gets produced is beyond my understanding. One star rating because I could not post without it . Kristen Wiig what were you thinking? Spoiler Alert : They lost me with the Abortion angle and the pawn shop guy offering $20,000 when the seller would have taken $20.

I really like Richard Russo. He is one of my favorite authors. I can only imagine what he thought of this adaptation of his wonderful book Straight Man . This was truly one of the worst things I have ever watched. The acting was awkward. The changes they made from the original story did not work . Did you ever watch something and were unable to stop because it was so bad that it was fascinating or you just kept hoping it might get better and start to make some sense? Then this is the show to watch . And now for the good news….Its over!

Too much Art and not enough reality. Did anybody in this film actually have a job . The playwright at the fish market was about the only one working. If one longs to own a house , shouldn’t you have to work for it? Too much angst and not enough action. Can someone please tell me where the movie reviews are from real people and not from those who feel themselves enlightened.
