It’s okay. Like, genuinely that’s all I can say about it. The character designs were beautiful, I love how distinguished each one was. I was a little confused on ethnicity considering (spoilers) Bridgette is white as a teen but mixed as an adult??? And the Charmings are colored, but they have a white son? It’s not a huge deal, just kind of… okay?? Either way, the actors were great in my opinion. In terms of songs, only like three of them were really enjoyable for me, but the dialogue in them still kind of ruined it (though that might just be because I’m getting older so it seems cringier to me now). The plot was in absolute shambles. There is no way you can convince me that it was thought out. The beginning was solid, if not a bit rushed, but by the middle it really seemed slapped together and whip lashed through. They set it up so well to get you excited for the dance and to see if everything works out, but then they don’t even show it? The biggest action in the movie was literally breaking into an office. By the end, everything was thrown out the window. I kept expecting something wrong to happen to show the consequences that were so forewarned before, like how was Uma effected by her aunt not getting revenge? Or wouldn’t Red be completely different now that history changed to make her mom better? And above all, would Cinderella still end up with Prince Charming since she was supposed to go with Bridgette? But instead I was met with slight disappointment that everything was fine. Except, it wasn’t??? But it didn’t even show what the effects were so does it really matter???
