After being very excited to finally see this, it's actually embarrassing how bad it is, no likeable characters with any charisma or charm (no male leads?), isn't scary in the slightest, how many dramatic entrances does the mom character make within 5 minutes like seriously I think 4 times it's laughable, the worst thing this movie does is it's boring, a complete snore fest with trope after tired trope and not a character to carry it, also the first time the mom interacts with the demon in the elevator her response is to tell it to stfu? Cringe She also attacks a kid with a piece of glass in her hand and then grabs a tattoo gun instead for dramatic (yawn) effect this movie is hack

One of the worst movies I've ever seen, a large portion of the "jokes" made me cringe so hard I nearly imploded. Had to throw on Clerks for some actually funny/charming banter/characterizations to drag me back from the void that is barb and star

Strange, and for the type of film I think it's trying to be it's far too prudent. It feels like something the characters of Twin Peaks would watch

Potentially the most nostalgic film of my youth, recently bought this to re-watch after so many years and it brings me so much joy to jump into this time machine, and George C. Scott my God what a treasure that man was. I may be extremely biased but if you grew up in the era do yourself a favor and watch this gem.
