The Fan Boy

At the core of this film, it is a love letter to the DC Universe. This film doesn't focus on just one era of DC, it isn't overly focused on the SnyderVerse or the BurtonVerse, but is its own thing, and has its own story. Setting aside real world controversies, Ezra Miller is fantastic in this film. He is by NO means better than Grant Gustin's portrayal of Barry Allen, but Ezra does something new here...twice! Keaton's Batman and Calle's Supergirl are also not used as gimmicks. This movie is exactly what it says it is. It is a Flash movie with Batman and Supergirl used as icing on the cake in a wonderful way! Director Andy Muschietti delivers some very creative and imaginative action scenes, and really elevates what can be done with superhero action sequences.

Thor: Love and Thunder was an incredible, fun and heartwarming film that will make you laugh more than once. Christian Bale's Gorr the God Butcher was easily the best part about this! Chris Hemsworth and Taika Waititi are hilarious when they are together as Thor and Korg. Natalie Portman was also really enjoyable to see when she is with Valkarye. The relationships between Thor and Korg and Valkarye and Jane is what makes the film so enjoyable. As for my spoiler thoughts, here it goes. Jane's arc was amazing in this film. After everything that Thor has been through, you feel terrible for him after they remind you of how much he's lost and now to make him lose Jane too! They set up the future perfectly with Hercules! Could Hercules join the new Avengers? There are so many options out there! Overall, a great film!

Jurassic World: Dominion is not only the culmination of the Jurassic World trilogy, but the entire Jurassic franchise. The question is does it live up to the hype? The answer is definitely no. Something I never thought I would say is a Jurassic World movie needs more dinosaurs. They teased a huge plot point of Dinosaurs coming into our world and they essentially did nothing with it. We also see the original trio with the new duo together for like a whole of 30 minutes! There is so much that I can say, but I need to get into spoiler territory for that stuff, so here it goes. Spoilers ahead. The fact that we saw Blue for like 5 minutes in the film is just plain weird. Blue is supposed to be one of the main Dinosaurs in the film and she was so disappointing. We also need A LOT more of Jeff Goldblum's Ian Malcom. Long story short, there is so much more they could have done.

I am a proud fan of the MCU and Marvel Comics! As an MCU fan, I think this should've been better. There were some good characters like Kingo and Druig. They tried to introduce so many characters in one film instead of a Disney+ show. As a Marvel Comics fan, I think the same. This feels nothing like the comics. They essentially took the names of Jack Kirby's characters and did their own thing and it fell flat. There was a great tease with Kit Harrington though. Very curious to see where that goes.

As you can see from the Rotten Tomatoes score, people enjoyed this film, and I am no exception. This was very enjoyable. Idris Elba's Bloodsport was the best character. Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn and John Cena's Peacemaker were also great! Rick Flag was much better in this film. The real hero here is James Gunn. Gunn made you care about a talking raccoon and a tree that can say 3 words! Gunn made these D,E and F tier characters seem awesome on screen. As a life long DC fan, I didn't think I'd care about Ratcatcher 2, but I really did! Same with Polka Dot Man! Very enjoyable film!

This is..well disappointing. All the scenes where they tease Spider-Man were cut from the final film. Michael Keatons role was also majorly reduced. The one scene he was in felt like it was written by a 6 year old! This was not what I was excepting. Jared Leto just needs to stay away from Comic Books Films! Lets just forget this ever happened and just move on!

This show had so much hype around it and it didn't disappoint, but Boba Fett fans will NOT be overjoyed when they see this. Fett was SPOILER ALERT: sidelined in the last half of the show. Episode 5-7 (the finale) were the best episodes of the show and Fett wasn't even in 5&6! This felt like The Mandalorian Season 2.5, not The Book of Boba Fett

This film was fun. There were more than a few cheesy lines, but somehow Jim Carrey, Idris Elba and the other cast members made them enjoyable. Idris Elba's Knuckles was the standout character for me. This film wasn't perfect though. They added a B plot with the human characters and it felt a little bit unnecessary. All the scenes with the humans just left me waiting for the next scene with Sonic. Jim Carrey was classic Jim Carrey in this film. He was over the top wacky and I'm not the biggest fan of that, but the best scenes were Carrey's Eggman and Knuckles. Over all, a decent film.

This is the best Fantastic Beasts film by far! I fall into the camp of people who enjoyed Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindlewald, but this film is tonally different from the previous film. Jude Law's Dumbledore and Jessica Williams' Lally Hicks were the best characters in the film. Mads Mickelson is an improvement over Johny Depp. Mads feels like the Grindlewald from the books with no over the top theatrics. The film feels like a Fantastic Beasts film with the tone of the later Harry Potter films!

This is the Superman that I've been asking for. I've been reading Superman comic books since I was 3 years old. This show made me feel proud to be a Superman fan. Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin are incredible as Superman's kids. Elizabeth Tulloch is also my personal favourite Lois Lane. This is the best piece of Superman content since the Donner Films!
