Let me start by saying that I’m a HUGE fan of Hugh Jackman as The Wolverine, no other actor could even come close (I will say that there is an issue with his height but there’s no actor of the correct physical characteristics that could play the part). With that said, this movie is garbage, being IMO surpassed in the garbage category by only the reboot of The Fantastic 4. Jackman played his part to the best of his immense abilities but the script, and other characters, were so bad that even he couldn’t carry this movie. I know that they have to take some license when making “comic” movies but the X-Men franchise overall was perhaps the guiltiest one of making unnecessary changes because some hotshot director has to follow his “vision” instead of a credible adaptation of the comic book. Hopefully, now that Marvel/Disney have the rights back they can move forward (probably need to reboot) and move this series back in line. PS- I love how Jackman got more physically jacked when he committed to playing the Woleverine long term.
