A very moving story. Stanley Tucci is terrific as a writer suffering from the later stages of dementia. I thought the film was very slow and at times the dialogue felt stilted. Not much happens in this film and yet these two men come to a painful and very disturbing decision that will provoke discussion and great thought. What would you do if you were placed in their position?

I so wanted to love this film. I enjoyed the stage show a lot, although I thought the story barely held together. The film version is filled with incredible dance numbers, though I hate to say this: As good as these numbers were, they started to look alike. And the story was all over the place. I never felt connected to any of the characters. There were moments that were emotional and uplifting. I loved the Grandma's song and the "breathe" number, both beautifully choreographed, but ultimately I got bored. The story jut didn't go anywhere.
