It was okay but the writing and the constant go go go rushed feel of the campaign did this game a big disservice. It still isn’t as good as the first. And definitely not as good as the original. No memorable moments from this new series except for clean house. The original had you battling for your life. Do you remember fighting to keep Alasad’s men back? Or watching as shepherd betrayed ghost and roach? Or when price was banging on soaps body after he died! Those are memorable moments that the new franchise only delivered on for one mission. And the mission wasn’t even an emotional one, it just made you feel like a true badass nightstalker. Most gamers aren’t going to care about the campaign and apparently neither did Activision. It’s only old gamers like me who still love story telling in a video game. Most younger audiences get bored way too easy to follow a good story in a video game which sole purpose is multiplayer. Can’t blame them that’s what they buy the game for. The remaster original CODMW is for us old foggies or our kids who watched us and sat next to us watching while we played these games originally. My son was one of those children who enjoyed watching his dad play through the stories. In conclusion- original soap would have never gone out like that. This is a review of the campaign only.
