This game is a solid 3.5/5. I played on Stadia, so I was spared most of the worst bugs. It has one of the best storylines and character development of any game ever. Probably the most real characters I’ve ever met. I’m glad I played it. That said, the AI is horrendous. The launch and bugs were (and remain) unforgivably bad, but wow, the AI is garbage. It constantly breaks the fourth wall. I’ll sit in the passenger seat for a quest and my driver will be running people over and repeatedly backing into the same car while having a totally normal conversation with me. I’ll accidentally shoot someone and everyone reacts the exact same. It’s inconceivably bad. Games in the late 2000s had more believable AI quality than this. Boooooooooooooooooooo

This was quite possibly the best game I’ve ever played. Just finished it, so I’m still mulling it over. Fallout 3 may now be in 2nd. I’ve never played a game quite like this. The complexity, the sheer volume of different directions you can take one story was impressive. The depth of the characters and the universe is beautiful. It wasn’t *hard* in the same sense that other games - shooters and RPGs - are. However, it is difficult and keeps you engaged at every step and every conversation. It was like a cross between reading an incredible novel, watching a movie, and playing an RPG all wrapped into one. You’ll know within the first few hours if the game is for you. If it is, you are in for a treat. (This game also made me forget about how much of a massive disappointment Cyberpunk was)
