An excellent read and compelling narrative imbued with a faithful sense of 'place': Having spent time in a number of small, remote Canadian resource towns in my youth, Drip Castle resonated with my memories -- the authenticity of dialogue and phrasing such that I could almost hear the small-town, northern Ontario accent; the cultural sparseness of limited choices & opportunities that drive characters where virtually everybody knows everybody and the deep woods all around. A good story, an easy read; rich and worthwhile.
