Real creepy, but with a bit of a cliche ending

This was a strange film. Visually very appealing but the producers took the unfathomable decision to make Napoleon a pathetic man utterly beholden to his abusive wife. Where is the glory? What of his achievements in all non-military fields? It was in all diverting but disappointing.

A cool film, exactly what legend should be. To everyone complaining that the Persians are one dimensional or that the Spartans are not historically realistic. Come on guys it's not ment to be taken as a saving Private Ryan type film. Its legendary tale told in legendary style. If you want a more 'historically' approach read Herodotus or one of the scholars who have researched the battle in detail.
