Worst kdrama i have watched till date. First 5 episodes were fine, but after that the series just became dialogue and a weak female lead seeking male validation and protection 24*7. The female lead, I had high expectations from her since seeing her in Love in The Moonlight. Do Dohee cannot do anything without Guwon protecting her and guiding her at every instant. She also gives up easily and has no character of her own. She is arguably the most prominent example of poor character writing. She is seen to be simping and obeying every whim of Guwon. SPOILER BELOW Towards the end of the series it's revealed that Wolsim is actually Dohee. It is also revealed that the cause of Dohee's parents early demise was Guwon, who made a deal with her father. Surprisingly, Dohee still ends up loving and caring and staying together as a couple with the one who killed her parents, a demonic 500 year old entity that doesn't die and was brought back to life randomly because God felt pity. Honestly, being a weak female lead was still okay, compared to the fact that she is alright with sharing a bed with the killer of her parents. Also, the man is immortal, old, etc. I'm unable to give a good review about such an absurd, random and teenage-centric drama

Absolute bore. People who have watched the Park Hyung Sik, Park Bo Young starrer Strong Girl Do Bong Soon will absolutely hate it. Kang Nam Soon has an enjoyable character but how does one enjoy seeing her when she gets much lesser screen time than her old mother? At this point it should be called Strong Mother Hwang Geumja because the show seems to be ALL ABOUT HER. Character is pretty unfunny despite the desperate efforts of the director. Male lead is spineless to the point where I could not understand if he was too trusting or just weird. Villain is quite stereotypical, veteran and kdrama watchers will not see anything new. Overall, I'd say don't watch it if you are fans of the original do bong soon. As a new kdrama fan you may like it but the chances are still slim.

Honestly, I am a person who has never had a particular liking for Chinese Dramas because of their penchant for dragging a story. However, this C-Drama is not like the others and truly, I not only desire a S2 but I also want atleast 50 rewatches. To start, VFX, GCI, etc, like all the special effects are beautiful! They have been used without skimping and the Drama is so aesthetically, visually pleasing and beautifully made. Drama OST was so beautiful! Each lyric made sense and they were free of autotune. And finally, to conclude, the amazing presence delivered by Dylan Wang and Esther Yu, the couple had sizzling chemistry and one could not ignore Esther's sweet acting skills. Her character grows stronger over time. Dylan Wang looks ravishing in every single costume he wears and shows good acting skills. The costumes, the sets, everything was worth applauding. The story ends in 36 episodes and is full of tiny but significant twists, suspense, emotions and romance. It is worth the 36 episodes of viewing please please don't sleep on it!
