Instantly loved it, as a nostalgic and timeless tale. However I was disappointed in a lot of the “acting” as it sounded like a script was being read. I didn’t feel or hear passion in the voices like the original. Almost like it was being read line for line! The kiddos did a GREAT job however, and I will give the effort to the voice over for Scar as that is a hard role to live up to. Glad they reprised the original voice of Mufasa. No one can replace Mr. Jones. Disappointed in “Be Prepared” as it wasn’t even a song. LOVED Seth Rogan for Pumbaa! Overall liked it and the animation was great.
