Probably the or one of the best books I’ve ever read. It’s unputdownable. It grabs you within the first couple of pages, unlike other books there aren’t any bits when you just want to skip a few pages or a section. The characters are well constructed and interesting. The dog gives me dog envy, my 2 are pretty special but I found myself loving six thirty (the dog). It’s set in the 50’s, the only depressing things I found were…how not far women have really come in 75 years, how long will it take for equality I wonder? The other major downer..it’s so compulsive I’ve finished it and I miss the characters! Do read this, I ate it up in 5 hours over 3 hot afternoons.
