I love Follett books - usually. Never however is an exception. It’s a money grab perhaps but a terrible story. There are many sub plots here that have zero to do with the books outcome and he leaves too many story lines unresolved. I read every page but the ending was sudden and not well done. It’s as if he had a contract to write 700 pages so he stopped on 701. I’m still a fan but I would like my money back. This wasn’t worth buying let alone my time.
