Totally underwhelming. Average prose although there were a few descriptions that made me pause to enjoy. I found the plot implausible- sending a mentally fragile main character back to a hometown where it seemed nothing good ever happened, back to a dysfunctional family to get a story that would put her newspaper on the map. And, she was sent there by a seemingly caring editor who knew of her condition 🙄
