Felt a bit too philosophical and almost preachy. A large part of the narrative happens as internal dialogue and thoughts that amount to generalized "life-epiphanies." Might be a good book for an early twenty-year old who feels some struck chord on hearing a resonant message about God and the way to be happy, but otherwise a pretty straightforward and relatively uninspiring (simple) plot-line.
I must admit, however, I did very much enjoy the section with the protagonist confronting the chain of actors on how to "turn himself into the wind." A creative expansion of suspense and anticipation toward the rising action of (in tandem) the wind's "rising." Very clever.
