The sets are beautiful, but unlike real locations, they resemble film sets. The costumes are extravagant, reminiscent of a combined Sabyasachi and Manish Malhotra bridal show. The music is pleasant but forgettable, with only the Sakal ban track being memorable.
The Punjabi language used in the film is inauthentic, especially for a Lahori Punjabi portrayal, which is known for its distinct and entertaining character. The Hindustani Urdu is also poorly executed. The actresses' English pronunciation is flawless, sounding more like Oxford graduates than everyday people, who would naturally have a local touch in their spoken English. Overall beautiful on costume and huge film sets department, but not so good in other departments.
