It is a very well-made and very well directed movie. Exceptional acting by all three leads. It is very taut and believable and leads up to an end which takes the viewer completely by surprise. It is a very candid look at the richly layered and complex events which make up the human experience. The storyline, the editing and the camera-work are hugely commendable. It is totally absorbing right up to the very end. It is interesting that the generous use of the 'f' word in the movie is a reflection on the high stress that many young people have to navigate as they live out their lives in the city.

I adore any movie of Ranbir Kapoor because I think he is one of the finest actors of his generation. There isn’t a single false note in his acting. He has done a phenomenal job in his character of Ayan. Anushka Sharma too is very spontaneous and believable in her character. Aishwarya Rai is outstanding and Shahrukh Khan’s brief appearance takes it up a notch. The movie is a beautiful and searching exploration of the theme of unrequited love. Very competently directed by Karan Johar. Highly recommended for all viewers.
