BBC you have done it again! You have re-created the 1960s so convincingly, got good story lines addressing human struggles that were commonplace back then, shown at least one believable looking birth each week and tugged on the old heartstrings. So for 8 Sundays in a row, I have wept for most of the hour while "living" back in those times with your faultless cast, brilliant settings and the immortal thoughts of Jennifer Worth. Please- PLEASE do another series

Shooting the Past is truly superb! The unusual storyline, the poignancy, the nuances....the passion. It is all there and perfectly portrayed by each cast member. The acting, the mesmerizing facial expressions are hypnotic. Anyone with a love of old photographs and an understanding of their significance could not fail to love this outstanding piece of work.
