Found the writing unsophisticated, character development poor and was very very tired of reading about the gore of blood and dismembered bodies throughout 2/3 of the book. The romance was ridiculous. Not worth the time.

Got very tired of the Paige character. She is employed as a counselor and seems unable to evolve. An interesting juxtaposition. Tiresome. The character just became more irritation as the series went on. Watched the series through for two reasons: hoping she’d finally get it and liked the other characters.
