Fairly poor writing. Not funny. Not much depth to the characters. Felt like I was watching a Lifetime show— guess I just had higher expectations for a Netflix series. Love Kristen Bell but even she couldn't make this come alive. Finished the series just to see how everything was resolved. I know it’s based on a true story but something definitely got lost in the translation. Will not be watching a second season, which they left as an option with that ending.

The script was bad and the actors couldn’t overcome that. Plot was weak and implausible, directing was weird. Only watched all six episodes to see who the (spoiler alert) killer was. Save yourself some time and just read the episode summaries.
