I was impressed by it, but I saw it when it was first released. So, I had no computer generated imaging with which to compare it. The special effects and props people, and advisers, made it work. It is still my favorite "shrunk" movie, although I'm sure I haven't seen all of them. "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" was similar, with great props and sets. Then, of course, there's "The Incredible Shrinking Man," which was memorable in spite of being low-budget black-and-white. "The Incredible Shrinking Woman" starring Lily Tomlin was supposed to be a comedy. It was a nice try but not that memorable. Two other "shrunk" movies I've seen were OK but not great. Those were "Dr. Cyclops" and "Attack of the Puppet People." I never got around to seeing Spielberg's "Inner Space."
