Bearable. The book is Bearable.

The plot had potential but the execution was not it. Mara's internal monologues were so ill timed and at places unnecessary. The first three chapters were so hard to read, Mara acted like a pretentious 12 y/o. And after all the pining and anticipation a cute confession ending would've suited the book more than what came in chp 13. It came out of left field and to me didn't feel like it really belonged in there. Also Liam's sudden personality change in chp 13 was jarring. This was my first read by this author and I was disappointed after hearing all the praises for this book.
