The movie was really good. I think this was a way for scott to tell the story in the way he wants and add things like adding vanessa in even though she just popped up in security breach and fnaf vr. It's a way to tell scotts story while adding on to his story so we can better understand it. I hate the crybabies saying "it's not following the iconic story" well because it's not supposed too and besides that it's showing us the story scott wanted to show us.
Adding little suttle hints like the "it's me" and even having sparky in the back which only real fans would notice is part of the reason I give this 5 stars. It basically sumarizes the story for newcomers of fnaf, while also adding things for people who grew up and are real fnaf fans, while also telling scotts story.
The only thing I would add are the scares. Sure it had some really spooky moments and some jump scares here and there and even a tiny bit of gore with maxs' body being split or the one guys face getting put close up and being all nasty looking, it needed a little more zaz. Fnaf thrived off of the thrill and the thought process of "try to survive so you don't get this scary jumpscare" and the movies just lacked the jump scare parts. It had all the thrill and the story and even the hidden secrets but it needed that last little touch of the jump scares. I would've also liked (even though I understand why it wasn't included) a scene of foxy full sprinting at a victim since that's what he's known for.
Other than all this the movie is great would definitly recommend going to see it and can't wait for another one.
