Recently, my Tibia game account was compromised through a two-factor authentication (2FA) breach, resulting in the associated email address being changed. To make this change, a recovery key (hereinafter referred to as RK) is required, which has been stored in my Drive since 2018. My Drive is protected by 2FA and requires authentication through the Gmail app, accessible exclusively through my mobile device.
Surprisingly, while I was online in the game, warning other players about criminal sexual and virtual activity related to the game, I was logged out and when I tried to log in again, I was told that my email address was incorrect. This is disconcerting as I have always used a password manager with extremely long, complex passwords and additional layers of security like 2FA to access my account.
I initially suspected that I had been banned for reporting another player's criminal behavior, however, upon checking, I realized that my characters still existed, but the email address associated with the account had been changed without my authorization. As part of my work as a QA (Quality Assurance), I maintain a high level of suspicion regarding possible bugs, so I decided to create a new Tibia account using the same email address I used to create my original account in 2018, just to test if it was a technical problem. To my surprise, the new account was created without any hindrance, indicating that there was no technical problem in creating accounts with the same email address.
In the heat of the moment, following the advice of some friends, I tried to regain control of my original account, using the same RK as always, and I succeeded. However, upon accessing the account, I realized that my character had been completely stripped of valuable items. We have detailed records of all transactions on the account, including where high-value items were transferred.
Despite all this evidence and the multiple layers of security implemented, the company responsible for Tibia took no action to investigate or resolve the incident. On the contrary, I was unfairly blamed for the situation. It is unacceptable that, even with all safeguards in place, my account has been compromised and my character harmed, and I hope that appropriate steps are taken to remedy this situation. We have detailed records of all transactions on the account, including where high-value items were transferred.

I also inform you that I am in contact with lawyers specialized in the matter and I am determined to resolve this situation in court. If the company does not contact me to provide a live audit of my account, I am prepared to initiate legal action for moral and material damages immediately.
