6 / 10 A good game as a basic open-world RPG. Pros: - The storyline draws you in very quickly. - The graphics are well done. - The characters and the NPC dialogues are rather interesting. - Enjoyable NPC interactions. Cons: - A few glitches, but the game is still new. - There are no companions for most game scenarios - unlike most RPGs, you do most of your quests alone. - A minor annoyance is that you don't sleep in your common room (very little time spent in a room that so much effort went into designing), you can go to class in any random outfit & you can't sit. - There are no romance options, which is a little sad as having a "high-school sweetheart (pg rated)" is part of being a teen for most people. This all could be changed/updated with patches though. The storyline sometimes feels like it was written for a character over 18, you get quests from adults who should be more capable, and you spend very little time at Hogwarts. But it is worth playing, though :)
