Was really looking forward to this movie given the decent audience score and 95% on rotten tomatoes but it’s just awful. It’s not scary, it’s really lame and boring. The acting and soundtrack are over the top, especially during one long scene where you’re expected to feel sad but the movie doesn’t build up any attachment to the characters so it’s almost comedic. Don’t waste your time.

Do not watch. Not sure why it seems like so many enjoyed this movie, maybe they’re paid reviews! Because of the high audience enjoyment score, I gave it a chance and watched half of it (over an hour of the movie) but I had to give up and stop wasting my time. It is literally the worst “horror” movie I’ve ever seen. The acting was awful, to the point where it was funny it was so bad and the script, was even worse. It was cliche and sounded like a child wrote it. The horror scenes were one dimensional, just a creepy lady staring each time with loud music - incredibly boring and lazy. This movie was also over 2 hours which is insane given it lacks any substance or story line. I tried to read what happens in the end online, and even that was just ridiculous and not worth the time.
