DISCLAIMER: I hate that the band is associating with abusers, and regardless of whatever happens and whatever you believe, it's still messed up that Marshall did what he did.
After an 8 year hiatus, Daughters delivers a sonic assault on the ears. Rhode Island hardcore misanthropes Daughters immediately hit you with a tumultuous clangor that persists throughout the album, even in brief moments of clarity and a seeming false sense of peace. Only to be trumpeted with more harsher math-rock and grindcore inspired noise that could only come from a band like this. If you like that description alone, you'll love this album. Beautiful album, truly.

Not so much "perfect cinema", but a fun watch. Thoroughly enjoyed this movie, there were definitely some parts that could've been removed and made a 5 star movie, but this movie isn't something like Inception.
All in all, fun movie. Recommend? Eh, if you want something to kill time.

A surprising flop from one of indie's biggest darlings.
I don't know. Maybe I didn't connect with it as much as "Be The Cowboy", or "Puberty 2". I know one thing though, and that this album feels like a cash-grab for the 80s sound. Don't get me wrong, her performances on this record are beautiful as always (I mean, that's Mitski for you). But comparatively to some of the high moments on the aforementioned records above, it's very restrained. It's like putting a lid on an oversized barrel of water. It is what it is, but I'm sure you'll like it!
FAVORITE TRACKS: Valentine Texas, Stay Soft, The Only Heartbreaker.

Arguably Kanye's best album, This should be the album when you search "Magnum Opus". The loud, powerful, and bombing assault of noises that are on the album exhibit full Kanye-isms. Producers Arca, Mike Dean, Daft Punk, and more are on full force throughout the runtime of the album. Truly a beautiful display of power. This album shows the spectrum of emotions such as sadness and depression on Guilt Trip, or anger and rage on Black Skinhead. Love, love, love, love, LOVE this album.
