I love this show, I really do..but the ending was sadly not..the greatest.. As a fan who truly loved the first 7 Seasons, I was appalled by the way it ended in Season 8. I just don't understand how Dreamworks thought it would be a good idea to just kill off Allura. They also PROMISED us an endgame for Lance, and if it's Allura then that's 100% fine with me because hey, I ship everything! (Allurance was highkey cute..bUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT uwu) (but they both seemed sad tbh) (#LanceAndAlluraDeserveToBeHappy) But nope, instead Lance has to be sad for the rest of this life with marks to remind him of his dead girlfriend. I kinda feel lied to. Not only that, the plot was just scattered all over the place and many characters weren't acting like themselves at all. Where was the famous Shiro-and-Keith bonding? I thought they were almost like brothers! They barely talked at all in this last season. There were also many errors in the editing of Season 8, including the glint Keith had in his eyes in that fight with Zethrid. And what's up with Curtis and Shiro...Curtis barely talked to him and BOOM! Suddenly they're married. Like character development please?? Even if this show had a not-so-great ending, it'll always have a special place in my heart. Thank you Voltron for being in my life since Season 4. And thanks for making me cry every single season (especially Season 8). I ain't gonna forget ya..
