As an avid reader, I was looking from some new recommendations when a good friend suggested this book. She knows I’m not a science-fiction fan and suggested I might want to ease into the category with this book. It was an excellent suggestion. Lindquist’s first efforts landed a winner. If ever a sci-fi story held some semblance of possibility, this is that book. Following our major wars, earth became too dependent upon computer technology and fighter pilots who couldn’t fly “by the seat of their pants.” It’s an interesting journey and in the end, an attempted invasion by Troglins gets repelled and the earth gets saved. The action continues to move, the scenarios are realistic, and the characters personable. What more could you want in a good book!
