Cabrini is an excellent movie with a very moving message, but it neglects the true character of St. Francis Xavier Cabrini herself. Mother Cabrini’s main motivation throughout her life was her faith. She had great devotion to the Blessed Mother as well as the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She prayed every day for the success of her mission.The movie entirely overlooked this as unimportant, which is disappointing and disrespectful to Mother Cabrini. A movie about a person should show the kind of person that they were, and this movie really doesn’t. So though this movie tells a good story, it doesn’t tell the true story.
