The movie is subpar at best. Don’t waste your money on this, as this drama is inconsistent, irrational, and will leave you question what the message even was. It’s meant to be a social commentary on consumption and a lack of appreciation for life and art, yet the man who is postulating this issue has such a disregard for life he is willing to kill a man just because he didn’t like his movie. The logic of the antagonist is backwards and cringy, which would be fine if it was treated as such. But it isn’t. It’s treated as if he has a point even though he doesn’t at all. In the end, the chef claims his final course is beyond ego as he plans to end it all, yet the entire point of his whiney cry for attention is his own art and his own ego. He is hypocrite and a charlatan who is upset and throwing a fit because he doesn’t enjoy cooking any more so kills a bunch of people for it. Truly, save your money. This movie looks cool and could’ve been in theory, but it was batched so hard that it isn’t worth your time.
