*Spoilers* The actors in the show are amazing. But the characters in this show are horrible. They were not relatable at all and constantly made decisions wayyy out of logic. Decisions felt so forced just to keep the plot going. And why was Jade the main character? Nothing about her was likeable in my opinion, and she was constantly on the screen making bad decisions. It made the show soo hard to watch, but i kept watching just because of the Resident Evil brand, hoping things were going to get better. So disappointing. Like, Albert knew Billies life is in danger and the whole city's in danger but he's just going to let Billie wander around in society until the last minute. How Umbrella is the highest security ever, but some highschooler is able to hack into the whole system with no difficulty? Or hey, I'm Jade, I just found out that my sister is going to die in 3 days with all of this proof but I'll just keep saying that everything is fine and to not believe it. Or the family in general not communicating at all, knowing how serious this situation was. Or when older Jade put a whole pile of grenades by the door and killed ALL the zombies but she was standing 10 feet away and survived?? Or that big alligator chasing older Billie, then rolling into the ocean just to hit the small boat with older Jade and Anjun, and then coming back to Billie on shore to finish her off?? What? How Albert would rather kill himself and let Bert live his life than to live with his two children that still need a father. And so many more examples. I felt like the only way I could enjoy this show was if I threw all logic out the window, which I shouldn't need to do to enjoy a show. The little easter eggs and the action scenes were amazing. The CGI was also very good. I also liked how Billie and Jade had to find the clues on the piano because it reminded me of the puzzles in the RE video games. But the logic to every decision and everything else was... yikes.
