Best version of Mulan live adaptation ever!!!! When I saw this I was skeptical, to say the least. I mean, there is a live Mulan and I ain't gonna watch that one cuz preference. In terms of storyline, I don't like the weird story of the cousin and her mess. I mean I can see the support of LGBT? in this series but I am not so sure how the community would feel if they see it. It's something to think about. However, I love the reversal dynamic of masculinity and femininity and the vulnerability of both sides. It is the very well portrayed in the show and I love how the story smoothes out any of its quirky edges. In terms of characters, I love the dynamic of the main couples and it's livelihood which was different and fresh from your usual troupe and it's entertaining and thoughtful. However, I don't like the second couple's story I mean the cousin story what is that? Like who decided the mess for her? What is her purpose aside from being a mess? The story would be still fine without her at all and her messy storyline nonetheless. In terms of overall, I would recommend it for anyone of interest to please watch this series. It is so hilarious and breathtaking and visually stunning. Best visual series ever!!! I love it!!! As someone who is very judgy with CG, this series will forever be known to me as Visually stunning, gorgeous, and best couple storyline ever!!! So I recommend it!!! WATCH IT!!!

Truth be told, I didn't expect anything so serious in this serious and I just happen to watch this upon its poster. Stories wise, I love it. It's funny and cute till it turns 180-degree upside down. Started simple and light-hearted as many of its predecessors do, then turning it into super serious was too much of a turn that it shocked me yet it stays in my mind for many many days. Character-wise, I will say this for the first time, this is the only drama in which I like the development of the second couple most. Yes, the first couple is likable but by now you'd be bored of seeing the same troupe again and again so it's a fresh change and I love it. I find that there is so much more emotion to connect with the elder brother storyline as you'd find him pitiful throughout his love conquer journey and it is. It isn't for the weak-hearted. I mean it. It sucks. My baby, WHY?!!! TT TT But in terms of recommendation, go for it. Won't be a waste of time and you might end up liking it so don't hesitate.

Three Lives, Three Worlds, The Pillow Book

I have not read the novel yet. Going to, much like when I first watched "The Untamed or MDZS". Honestly, this is so far my fav XianXian show that I can relate to the main lead!!! When I was watching its previous series; Eternal Love, I struggled to connect with the main character for a very long time so I skipped their story and just watch Fengju and Dong Hua's storyline. Truth to be told, I find Bai Q to be too cold and ruthless and unrelatable. Whereas Fengjiu's childishness is more relatable to me. Overall, I'm not surprised by the poor uses of CG, it's the same wherever you turn. Some are Hella good if you watch the series you'd know, some uhuh Nah, No good. But I've been watching too many CG break down so my judgment in that category is harsh but overall this movie is the best thing that came out of 2020/2019. It's just sad that I wanted to see their wedding and after all the tragedies, how their life would be for another episode or so would put my brain and heart at ease. In terms of who I shipped and preferred to watch the movie, I think you can guess. Honestly loving this wouldn't change anything of this movie (aside from CG) and I'm so happy to become a fan of this story after the movie and I'm gonna be a fan of this ship forever.
