I'm about halfway through with it, but I really do like it a lot so far. It reminds me a lot of "Back to the Future" or "Frequency," particularly the latter because his mission is to save his dead father. I can't help but wonder whether the ending will be the same as it was in Frequency, where dad and son finally embrace face to face and live together as one happy family again. But what happens to the step dad, Steve, I wonder? Possibly the mother never even meets him because her husband doesn't end up dead? And that would mean no more annoying step sister, either! I guess I'll find out soon enough! A good read for anyone at any age; this is definitely not just a kid's book.
