I always try to give each remake a fair chance by watching it for what it is.Bringing Kevins older brother into it and mentioning what happened to Kevin ruined ANY attempt to do so.Too many main plot detours;all with legitimate good guys;made it difficult to find humor in all that happened at the hands of either "The Not Kevin" or fate.Kevin was bullied and disregarded,yet he was never rude to them.Not so much thisNot Kevin.Even so,I really wanted to like it but there just wasnt much to endear it to me as a true Christmas movie.
