I just want to say I am so happy that I gave this movie a chance despite seeing a lot of critical reviews on it. Despite the low budget for this movie I was amazed about how they cleverly build up the suspense and confusion displayed by the characters, Honestly the first half of the movie was a setup made to make fun of Paranormal Investigators, and so the atmosphere in the movie was light and I had a few laughs during it however as the movie picked up I was genuinely impressed by the actors and how they conveyed their distress. However there are downsides, like how most people said there were a few cheap jump scares but the thing is when those jump scares came up I could only feel relief that something had finally happened, since the tension was build up to a point that I felt sorry for the characters. Also I don't feel it was supposed to be marketed this way but I feel like I can interpret the movie as I like so I'll give my opinion on how I felt about the movie as a movie in the horror genre and to be fair I felt that it was one of the saddest horror movies made, mostly because I felt bad for the characters in the movie and I repeatedly told myself that death was better than what they endured. Anyway with that aside I felt this was a great movie to scratch your heads over after finishing it. 10/10 great movie for movie night, couldn't sleep.
