This documentary hit so close to home. Growing up in a home with abusive, mentally ill parents who never sought treatment made my home life a terrifying war zone. Severe mental illness in a family affects every member. It is absolute, pure hell. I found myself wanting to hug Mary and give her comfort and let her know she’s not alone.

This show is great. It’s light, funny, and fresh. It takes something that could be really cheesy and has fun with it and is really fun to watch.

This movie was amazing. It was deep, moving, and heartfelt. These are the kinds of movies the world needs more of. It was uplifting to see a former convict who so badly wants to be accepted back into society do just that, accept and embrace a little boy who needs stability and love himself. Watch it, you’ll be glad you did!

Amazing movie, from the beginning your heart aches for the son who is trapped in a horrific situation. The casting was perfect and this character driven film unfolded beautifully and while brutal and heartbreaking it was also hopeful.

Such a deep, soul stirring movie. You don’t just watch it, you feel it deep in your bones. Amazing!!!
