I loved the books and the movies with Tom Cruise, even though he didn’t physically fill the part. This series is just not up to scratch. I can’t fully articulate why I haven’t enjoyed this series but it probably comes down to how well it is directed. The main reasons are that the fight scenes are just not convincing, exciting or intriguing, as they are in the books and movies. In addition, the acting f of Reacher is suboptimal, and he seems a little bit over muscled, to the point of his muscles impairing swift movement. Am not at all excited to see season 3 but hoping it isn’t a book that has lots of his old army buddies as like the more solo stories.
