Ughhhhhhh The villain dies by the special knife and evaporates into thin air and the best lead actor ever lead also Dies in the end by same knife but doesn’t evaporate into thin air!! I thought the damn cat vampire would give him one of his lives! His mentor and friend appears randomly throughout, I pray he will find away to help him live! Cats have nine lives - Isn’t that what cats are known for, otherwise what’s the significance of him being a damn vampire cat? Not for me! Hate these types of series! I mean I know the real world isn’t a fantasy but can’t a fantasy end well? That’s why they are romance fantasies!!!! She’s waiting for him to be reborn but he was never a human! Extremely frustrating. I hope this helps someone bc I didn’t look at reviews! I would not have watched had I read them.

I am sick and tired of investing in these kinds of dramas expecting an outcome befitting the leads. Rushed the ending and the villain Wu Wuyan gets his due in the span of 1 minute, his death was ridiculous compared to all his manipulation. My guy has to give up his life again for her and has only 10 years with his lady!!!!! Huang Chao gets to be Emperor! They both give up everything to spend his remaining 10 years together. Who the hell thinks this is fair???? I hate endings like this! The romance was very little between them. The longing is palpable but you do not get rewarded in the end! BS

Hasn’t anyone figured out people hate the heroine to die! Watching 43 episodes for a horrific finale was sheer madness! Wasted so much time just to see him die in the end! I really cannot stand shows like this, The dramatic effect was also unnecessary. I love romance and drama but to see the stars end up dead!! Really. I hated this show so much! I might have to watch end of show s just so I don’t waste my time! They went through all of that just to end up killing off the male lead!
