I found the documentary very interesting, yet terribly one-sided. It bashes disease modifying medications, claims they have no long term effect, etc. It does not mention the effect of stress or heat exposure on our symptoms. I have had this illness for 22 years. I take a disease modifying medication (yes, I have had side-effects but none of the awful ones that are mentioned in the film) and vitamine D. I made no changes to my diet. I have always been a healthy eater anyway. After more than two decades, I am able to work full-time, I walk normally and I am able to take care of my house and home. Also I found the beginning of the documentary very depressing, Not everyone with this illness deteriorates or needs a wheelchair. After 22 years, I have not had to use one yet. I am convinced my neurologist has his patients' best interest at heart.
