Fantastic show. I’ve always liked Sarah Lancashire in the British productions I have seen, but this is a totally different role for her. She is extraordinary as Julia Child. Her portrayal gives the sense that this is Julia the multidimensional and very vulnerable person, not just the accomplished chef and cookbook author. Casting overall is excellent, as well as production values. David Hyde Pierce and Beebe Neworth also give wonderful performances.
