Hey Jesse, Tips are a gift and as far as I know, you can receive a gift up to ($5,000?)without having to report it. These women are being double taxed, And I know being in food and beverage all my life you don't necessarily get the tips that hit the percentage of your sell numbers. We don't tax birthday gifts, we don't tax Christmas gifts (?) Why are we taxing the gifts that are given to a hard working core of people who serve the public for a living on minimum wage. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.
