I'm not very much a British film watcher, but after I heard it has received an award, I felt I had to see it for myself. I watched a little bit of Sherlock Holmes, and couldn't make out a thing even though I more or less knew what it was all about. With THE CROWN I find myself intrigued and fascinated about the historical scriptures, the designs and mostly the characters. Although I have read about Princess Diana and the unfortunate dramas thereafter. I'm glued to the screen reliving the stories about these people. Really a combination of reality, madness, happiness and sadness. I was a bit sad not to see the younger version of characters grow older, but once I got use to the older characters, I was astound by the similarities. Well done to MARTIN CHILDS and his crew
