One of the most beautiful movies I have seen. A scattershot film about how death has its poignant moments. This movie gives a long, arm hug To everyone who has lost someone! A story so personal that one relates to it and so will anyone who has lost someone . It’s a reminder of the pain one brushes under the carpet or the pain that one fears facing someday. Got goosebumps and was so connecting to each and every emotions expressed . It's said story of our life begins before life itself starts and continues even after we are gone. Sometime, someday each of us will leave this world and take a right turn. Some early some late. But what happens after we are we take a right turn and the ones we love can never see us again. How do the people connected to us as brothers, sister, friends, parents, spouse, react. Goodbye is about how after the sudden death of their mother, chaos and grief collide as four adult siblings return for the funeral service at their conservative father's home. Each and every frame has a myriads of emotions running through it. It capture the lasting anguish that results from the demise of a family member. Vikas Bahl’s family drama has superb contributions from Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, Rashmika Mandanna and Pavail Gulati. The major credit for the movie’s beauty, however, should go to the writer/director Bahl. The writing and direction of the film are just too good. Every character shines and scintillates in its respective aspects. Bahl creates a two-hour-long reel run on the death of an ordinary woman who died of natural causes and still keeps the audience glued to their screens.
