I watched the Richmond production of the Enfield Hauntings and I have to say I was disappointed. The stage set looked good and some of the special effects set the scary atmosphere. However, the acting seemed wooden at times and the script and plot was muddled. Catherine Tate’s character was never really developed and the action was really confusing. The actors playing the children were more convincing than the adult characters. Not the standard we would have expected for such experienced actors and surely not ready for a West End performance!
