The sound quality of the program has clearly deteriorated as compared to pre pandemic , especially the interview segments . Many programs are barely understandable ( echo chamber effect, lack of audio synchronization etc . Subtitles are not used enough when commentators or guests are difficult to understand. Also, there is a big difference in how clearly some of the PBS regulars speak... Judy Woodruff A+....some of the others have a lot of room to improve. How difficult would it be to fix the "sound problems " ? It would improve the the quality of the News Hour certainly to this viewer and probably many others.
