I anticipated a quality comparable to Tyler Perry's 'Diary of a Mad Black Woman' and 'The Family That Preys.' Yet, the execution seemed hurried and disjointed. The buildup to Kelly's sexual scene was so implausible that I ended up fast-forwarding through it; it seemed like a forced rush towards a climax.
