I see that some people didn’t like the film. Either because of how they depicted her addictions or feeling like there was a lack of focus on her artistry. Whatever the reason, there will always be an unanswered why to her death. Only she knew the true causes to the problems that led to her demise and they pieced it together as well as they could. She was only 27 and it would have taken time for her to truly reflect on her reasons for going down the path she did. I think the cast did an incredible job at embodying each character. I love Amy and I feel like this movie showed the positive and negative sides to a very complex woman. Cheers to everyone involved and thank you!
