This character assasination of Lincoln shows an inability to grasp nuance. The way Lincoln's words are used and the open glee shown in making him out to be a closet racist was too much, I turned it off and will never watch it again. If The man had acted stupidly as this program suggests he should have, Douglas would have been elected in 1860 and slavery would have endured at least decades longer than it did.
